The back room for up to 24 at one long table: a set menu planned with you for birthdays, rehearsal dinners and work dinners.

Behind the main dining room is a brick-walled room with one long timber table for 10 to 24 guests. It has its own door to the hall, so a group can talk, toast and linger without the rest of the restaurant around them.

How it works

Call or write with the date, the number of guests and the occasion. We send a few set menus to choose from, and the chef adjusts one to your group, its tastes and any allergies. Drinks can be by the glass as you go, or a set pairing agreed ahead.

How far ahead should I book?

Four to six weeks for a Friday or Saturday; less for weeknights. In summer and in December, book earlier.

Is there a minimum?

A minimum spend that depends on the night, told to you when you ask. Weeknights are lower.

Can you handle dietary needs for a group?

Yes. Send us the list ahead and the chef plans each dish around it.
